Mrs. Jessica Ralston
Jessica Ralston has 24 years of experience in education, with 17 of those years at Sycamore Community Schools. As an elementary principal, she plays a vital role in creating a positive and effective learning environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Jessica oversees day-to-day operations, manages staff, supports students, and fosters strong relationships with parents and the community. She also focuses on student achievement, assessments, and staff professional development.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Northern Kentucky University, with certifications in special education K-12 and general education K-8. She also earned a Master’s degree in Literacy from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Miami University. Her career includes experience as a special education teacher at Northwest Local Schools and Sycamore, an Intervention Teacher at Sycamore, and an Assistant Principal at Symmes.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband Keith, their son Alex (a junior at OSU studying Mechanical Engineering), their daughter Anna (a freshman at the University of Tennessee on a premed track for psychiatry), and their daughter Alivia (an 8th grader at SJH). She loves to travel, read, and spend time at the pool. Jessica is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children, families, and the community. She believes that education is about nurturing growth, instilling values, and preparing students for success in life. Every day, she is dedicated to inspiring and supporting students, teachers, and staff to reach their fullest potential.

Dr. India Chambers-Richardson
Dr. India Richardson has 15 years of experience in education and is in her 4th year at Sycamore Community Schools as the Assistant Principal at Symmes. She focuses on coaching teachers, overseeing Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), and managing special education, attendance, and MTSS systems to enhance student and staff learning.
Dr. Richardson holds degrees in Political Science, Elementary Education, and Educational Leadership, including a Doctorate in Leadership for Organizations from the University of Dayton. She began her career with Teach for America in the Mississippi Delta and has since held various leadership roles.
Outside of work, she enjoys working out, learning, and spending time with her family. Dr. Richardson is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive school culture where every student and teacher can reach their full potential.
